Wherever I am, whatever I see ... This is what determines my photographic subjects. But photography is about capturing not just a subject but an impression. What is interesting about the form? How can the frame composition enhance the image? How does light play into the image? Does the picture evoke an emotional reaction? Besides the photographs you see here, I am the author of Signs of Lancaster County: A Photographic Tour of Lancaster County (Schiffer Publishing). Signed copies of the book are available at tanareiff.com. The first three books in the Photo Albums by Tana Reiff series, WINDOWS & DOORS, EARTH & SKY, and WILDFLOWERS & MORE, are now available for purchase exclusively on Amazon.
